LeMeowSoul/Indie/Pop Band “Le Meow”

leMeow is Gin Bourgeois on vocals and James Rooke on bass, accompanied by Brent Hultquist on keys and Jansen Richard on drums. In 2016, the group released their first studio album. In its first week, ‘York St’ charted on college radio and landed them showcases at some of Ontario’s premier music festivals. They also won the 2016 Yamaha Canada Band Competition which enabled them to travel to Japan and perform for award winning bassist and composer Nathan East. Earlier this year, leMeow released the live version of their newest single ‘Drip Drop’. The band is looking forward to recording the studio version in the New Year and to releasing their next EP.

Back for his third session at Harvest Noir, the fantastic DJ Eric Latulippe will throw down a crowd-pleasing mix of Top 40, dance music, hip hop, reggae, and classic rock.

DJ Phil Fairhead will also be hosting an epic electronic and tribal house dancefloor.

Expect to stay up late and have an astonishing time with a thousand other guests dressed in dark elegance. Combining hoppin’ dance music, elegant dresscode and daring costumes, a dance flashmob, and an audience-participation fashion show, Dance Noir was voted one of Ottawa’s sexiest parties by Apt613 readers.

Undisclosed. For now. In 2011, Dance Noir took over the Grand Hall of the Museum of Civilization, in 2012 it was 3 dancefloors at the National Arts Centre, and in 2013 guests flooded the halls of the Canadian War Museum. Sticking with tradition, Dance Noir 2015 will occupy an equally impressive downtown venue, and create a party atmosphere unlike any other in the National Capital region. After-party guests will be informed of the secret location at the last minute by email.

Dance Noir attendees dress their creative and expressive best, ALL IN BLACK. Vintage clothing and upcycled fashion is encouraged! Be creative, be bold, be sexy.
